20 Bicol towns under signal no. 2 as ‘Enteng’ maintains strength

GUINOBATAN, Albay—Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2 was raised over 20 towns in Camarines Sur and Camarines Norte as Tropical Storm “Enteng” (international name: Yagi) maintained its strength while in the waters 100 kilometer north-northwest of Daet, Camarines Norte.

In their 9 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that “Enteng” was moving northwestward at 15 kilometers per hour with the maximum sustained winds of 75 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kilometers per hour.

Signal no. 2 was raised in all 12 towns of Camarines Norte, and the towns of Garchitorena, Caramoan, Presentacion, San Jose, Lagonoy, Tinambac, Siruma, and Goa in Camarines Sur.

Meanwhile, Signal no. 1 was still in effect over the rest of Camarines Sur; Albay; Sorsogon; Catanduanes; and Masbate City, Baleno, Aroroy, and the islands of Ticao and Burias in Masbate.

Tropical Storm “Enteng” did not make a landfall in Bicol.
